Privacy Policy
Last updated: 30 October 2026
BibleDaily helps you follow a Bible reading plan and keep personal reading notes. This policy describes the version currently available at bibledaily.site.
Information you enter
The demo stores your selected plans, start dates, reading progress, completion dates, moods, highlighted verses, reflections, and prayers in your browser's local storage. It also stores your theme and translation preferences. Demo journal entries are not uploaded to a BibleDaily account or Google Sheet.
Reflections and prayers may reveal personal beliefs or other sensitive information. Only enter information you are comfortable keeping on the device you use, especially on shared devices.
Public reviews
If you post a review, its text, your chosen display name (or Anonymous), posting date, and last edited date are stored on our server and shown publicly to visitors. Anonymous means your display name is hidden; it does not mean your connection is anonymous to the hosting provider. We do not request a Google account or email address to post a review.
A private edit key is stored in your browser. Only a hash of that key is stored with your review on the server. Keep the browser's site data if you want to edit later. Clearing that data or switching browsers loses your self-service edit access. Reviews remain until removed by the operator; contact dany10martin@gmail.com for removal requests. We may need information to verify your request. Review text is separate from private journal entries and is not included in reading PDF exports.
Google sign-in and account storage
Google sign-in, account registration, and Google Sheets synchronization are not enabled in this version. BibleDaily does not currently receive a Google account profile or Google API tokens through a working sign-in flow. The sign-in button remains unavailable until account services are configured.
Before account services open, this policy will be updated to explain the account information collected, the permissions requested, storage providers, session duration, retention periods, and how to request access or deletion. You will be able to review that information before connecting Google.
Hosting and external services
Cloudflare hosts this website and may process connection information such as your IP address and request metadata to deliver and secure the service. Google Fonts supplies the typeface, so your browser may connect to Google to retrieve font files. Those providers handle their own service data under their policies: Cloudflare Privacy Policy and Google Privacy Policy.
Translation and study links open third-party websites. Their privacy policies apply when you visit them. BibleDaily does not include advertising or analytics scripts in the current application.
PDF exports
Reading PDFs are generated on your device using your current plan and saved notes. Exporting does not upload the PDF to BibleDaily. You control any copies you download or share.
Retention and your choices
Local data remains until you remove it, clear this site's browser storage, or your browser removes it. You can edit or clear individual notes in Progress & Journal. Clearing site data removes all locally saved demo entries and preferences. Download a PDF first if you want a copy; PDFs cannot currently be imported back into the app.
Uninstalling a web app may not clear browser storage. Downloaded PDFs remain wherever you saved them until you delete them yourself.
Data use
BibleDaily does not sell your journal data or use it for advertising. If Google integrations are enabled in a future version, Google user data will be used only for the disclosed reading and account features, subject to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.
Changes and contact
Changes will be published on this page with an updated date. For privacy questions, support, or requests concerning information handled by BibleDaily, contact dany10martin@gmail.com. Demo journal entries are stored only in your browser, so we cannot retrieve or delete those local entries remotely; you can remove them by clearing this site's browser data.
